Shanghai is the economic center of china. The City is considered to be less 'Chinese' than Beijing, maybe due to the long western influence. Today, this influence can be seen in the historical buildings on the Bund and Shanghainese openness and drive. Shanghai is also the most glamorous city with its many parties and nightlife. It is the bridge between the west and China.

Shanghai is a city that enjoys a certain reputation as a famed historical enclave due to its long history as a foreign occupied port through much of the 19th and early 20th century. But that was a long time ago, and Shanghai today is a booming, bustling, vibrant and ever changing city.

It's known as the Paris of the east and its a dynamic urban metropolis that is fast becoming the dominant destination in Asia for business and leisure. Shanghai is a relatively young city full of energy and glamour; it is a mix of oriental and western culture, bringing the best of both worlds together. As the fashionable leader of China, the city is ready to receive guest from all over the world.

Our language school in Shanghai is Mandarin House, located right off Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, nearby you will find plenty of Restaurants, shops and cafes, three subway lines provide easy access from any part of the city to the school.

The school is fully equipped; there are 22 comfortable and spacious classrooms a relaxing area and an internet cafe. In the same complex there is a full sized gym with a swimming pool.
