Learn Spanish in Barcelona
Captivating city
Barcelona is a wonderful location to learn Spanish, a city of beautiful buildings, wonderful lifestyle, history, culture, excellent shopping and leisure facilities, plus km of golden sandy beaches; truly unique, quite unlike anywhere else!
Before 1992, when the Olympic Games took place, Barcelona was a fairly industrial and run down city which seemed to have little to offer. For this event, Barcelona took on a new look and suddenly became relevant.
Due to the legacy of Gaudi and many other modernist architects Barcelona is a Mecca for world class architects, who flock here to conjure up an array of modern structures and avant-garde designs.
There are so many interesting things to see and do in the city. Fortunately, the rush of new construction has not completely dwarfed the older buildings, as the old and new architectural styles harmoniously combine. Barcelona is the kind of city where a contemporary glass and steel office block can rest happily within striking distance of a gothic cathedral, a city where the old port has been rejuvenated without losing any of its charm.
Language School in Barcelona
In Barcelona we recommend:
Babylon Idiomas.
The school is centrally located in downtown Barcelona, on the 1st floor of a typical "Eixample" building. The Eixample was built in the late 19th century and is one of the architectural highlights of the city.
The school has a large outdoor terrace, a living room, well sized classrooms all air-conditioned, and friendly staff.
