Dublin, the capital city of Ireland is an exciting place to live in and learn English. This vibrant, youthful city with its varied history of over 1,000 years, has lots to offer.

In the early 90s, the Irish economy grew rapidly, people started coming to Ireland for work as well as for tourism, making for a genuine cultural diversity. Dublin is a lively and bustling city proud of its many theatres and its strong literary tradition. Irish pubs are famous throughout the world and the Irish music scene is a lively and exciting one.

This city is also famous for the friendliness of its people. The strong traditional culture creates a pleasant and safe environment in which to live and study English.

When you are in Dublin you must include visits to the early medieval Christchurch Cathedral (Dublin's oldest building), the cobbled streets of Temple Bar, the National Gallery of Ireland and the treasures of the National Museum of Ireland, and places like Trinity College, Ireland's oldest university, and the Guinness Storehouse all these convey a real sense of living history.
