Montpellier, capital of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, has a long tradition as a University city and is the home to one of the biggest and best known Universities of France. The city of Montpellier (260.000 inhabitants) offers a beautiful historic centre with narrow picturesque streets, elegant private mansion houses dating back to the 16th century and many tree shaded cafes. The climate is excellent. Summer lasts until late October and you can even sit outside in winter to drink your coffee in one of the numerous cafes. The sun shines for more than 300 days a year...

Montpellier has lots to offer with it interesting cultural life, thanks to its countless historical treasures, the city is officially called a 'Ville d'Art'. Many street musicians and artists as well as a variety of famous festivals contribute to its cultural life. The warm, mediterranean atmosphere is reflected in the day to day life of the town.

The school is very centrally located in the heart of the historic centre in a private mansion house dating back to the 18th century. All sites of interest as well as boutiques, bars, restaurants, cinemas etc. are just minutes on foot away.

All the classrooms are air-conditioned, clear and nicely decorated. The Institute is equipped with TV's, VCR, CD player, retro-projector, and has it's own small library, where students borrow books and magazines.
