The waterfront city

Portsmouth is an island city on the south coast of England, sheltered from the winds by The Isle of Wight in the south and Portsdown hill in the north, therefore having a milder climate than other parts of England, temperatures are moderate and rainfall is lower than Britain's average. Portsmouth fame comes from 800 years of maritime history and is one of the most charming cities on the south-coast of England.
