Salamanca life centres around Plaza Mayor, a beautiful square surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. The Student atmosphere make of this city an ideal place to learn Spanish for the friendliness of its people and the lively social scene.
Everything in this small town is within walking distance: beautiful churches, ancient streets and much more. Segovia, Burgos, Santiago de Compostela, Leon and, of course, Madrid are all within easy reach. The climate is continental with chilly winters and sunny summers.
