Ushuaia, with a population of 65.000 inhabitants is the southernmost city in the world and is located between the Beagle Channel and the Martial mountains. This incredible location will allow you to enjoy the sea, woods, glaciers, and mountains.
Some of the attractions in the city are the old Jail with its wax statues of famous criminals who spent their time here. The Train at the End of the World "Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino" (El tren del fin del mundo).
Summer is the ideal season to practice adventure sports: fans of trekking, fishing, sailing, and cycling will be challenged in Tierra del Fuego. Excursions through the Beagle Channel, Cabo de Hornos, and Antarctica are also available.
Locals are very fond of foreigners. They have a reputation of being generous, easy-going and extremely friendly. The region is home to Onas indigenous communities which still preserve their language and culture.
