The prestigious private school, founded by Empress Maria Theresia, provides optimum learning and recreation facilities for the ActiLingua junior programme.

The school is centrally located in Vienna, with the famous sights only a walk away or within easy reach on public transport.

German Lessons:

Lessons are in small groups from Monday to Friday. You practice grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and oral comprehension in systematically structured lessons. Emphasis is placed on language in real-life situations outside the school, communication and language games and work in groups and pairs.

Accommodation & Meals

You are accommodated in modern shared bedded rooms in the school residence directly on the campus.

There are three meals per day at the school refectory. All students are accommodated full board. International dishes (and also Austrian specialities) are served at mealtimes.

Breakfast: buffet with sliced sausage, cheese, jam, bread, tea, coffee or cacao.
Lunch: always three courses with starters, hot main dish and desert.
Evening dinner: nearly always hot (sometimes cold after excursions), sometimes barbecue evenings.

The handpicked group leaders put together an exciting and varied leisure programme to keep you entertained after classes and at the weekend.

Holiday Course (16 - 19 years)

The course is aimed at students aged 16-19 years, who prefer to spend time with their peers in Vienna.

Lessons take place at the ActiLingua Academy. Students are accommodated in rooms with 2-3 beds at a student house that is perfectly suited to welcome a young international crowd..
