About Worthing
Worthing is an attractive seaside town of 100,000 people on England's South Coast, 1.5 hours from London by train.
Its 8km long promenade provides a wonderful place to walk in the afternoon or evening and there is an indoor swimming pool. However, many visitors prefer to swim in the clear, clean sea which the English royal family have used for relaxation over the centuries.
About the programme
CES (Centre of English Studies) Junior Summer School is organised to include expert English language training with a full programme of sports, activities and cultural visits.
The first class is divided into two sessions; the first part concentrates on grammar structures and writing skills. The second part is designed to improve listening and oral skills. Role-play, communication exercises and authentic materials are used.
Project work, UK culture, history and legend are an important part of the course. The course takes place in Worthing College, which is a modern bright UK A-level college with excellent facilities in a great location.
